Love Is The Bridge

Hurrow, everyone…

it has been a while since I posted any blog updates, my dear digital friends…but I’m baaack! While so many of you lucky buggers were frolicking under the summer sun, the hubby and I were working our grumpy, stressed-out, not-so-little butts off. (There really was very little time to do anything but work, sleep and eat over the past few months). Yep, we worked straight & hard through the festive season and new year, but it’s all good now… we got our much-deserved break very recently when we treated ourselves to another wonderful adventure in Bali. We visited some of our awesome friends (though they feel like family) in Lembongan island and I ended up having the time of my life – quite literally! :)

We just got back last night and since I’m still feeling that salty seawater & fresh sea breeze on my skin, I decided to post this here thing-a-majig I created a few months ago. It sort of reminds me of being out at sea again, which is always a great thing.

I used a bunch of different photos I took over time and smashed them all up to create this colourful mess.

Inspired by my love of the sea, geometric shapes and Rumi quotes, I ‘designed’ this little piece of digital art a few months ago. Now, please note, I use the words ‘designed’ and ‘art’ very loosely here because I seriously didn’t know what the heck I was doing. (Still don’t – hah!). You awesome designers out there makes things look so easy – shame on you lot! 😉

I will probably post some pics and other fun stuff about Bali soon, but hope this gives you something to look at (and even think about) in the mean time.

xxx
